DESCRIPTION:
Thanks to everybody who turned up f
or our first rogaine of the year on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. It was a
tough course with plenty of route options available. With over 350 partici
pants, many of which were first-timers, it was a great way to kick off the
ACT calendar.
Take some time to have a look through som
e of the photos here taken by Photography extroadinaire, John Harding.
Congratulations to Susie Sprague and Selina Stoute who took out t
he Womens category, while Tom and Keira Banks took out the Mixed category.
Overall winners and winners in the Mens category were Ryan and David Stocks
with Martin Dent and Owen Radejewski a close second. See the full results
via the link below.
We look forward to s
eeing you all at the Paddy Pallin in a couple of weeks time along with the
AGM straight after!

COV
ID-19 Measures
If you have recently returned from overseas, or if you h
ave travelled from a known COVID-19 ‘hotspot’ without a designated period o
f quarantine/isolation; or if you are awaiting the result of a COVID-19 tes
t; or if you are feeling unwell, or have flu-like symptoms, please stay hom

be displayed at the Hash House. Please ensure you have checked in. We
have tried to make this event as contact-free as possible. There will be no
prize ceremony, and gloved organisers will also be handing out/collecting
maps and tags with as few touches as possible. Please drop your team-number
ed flight plan directly into the box provided. Touch points at the toilets
will be cleaned regularly. Please maintain a safe 1.5m distance from o
ther teams at all times - including while doing your route planning, at the
briefings, at the start and finish, and when approaching controls. We
have made the navlights hands-free by strapping them to the same feature a
s the control flag, mounted perpendicular to the feature and ready to use w
ithout needing to touch it with your hands - just present your navlight wri
st tag to the reader so the navlight flashes in the usual way.

Map and Course Details
There will
be one A4 map (210x297mm), 1:25,000 with 10 m contour interval. Magnetic no
rth lines are marked on the map. Out of bounds areas are marked in grey and
pink shading. It contains mainly native bush with small areas of cleared l
and. The course setters notes and control descriptions have been printed on
the back. The altitude ranges from approximately 600 to 850 m.
<
br/>
Pink areas have been marked separately to the grey areas as they c
ontain a number of rare plants that have regenerated with all the recent ra
in. You must not go off track in these areas; however, if a marked track go
es through the pink areas, you are allowed to pass through along the track.
The map is printed on Teslin paper which is very tough
and generally does not need to be covered in contact.
Due to large rainfall, there is a lot of long grass on course so gaiters an
d/or long pants are highly recommended.
Water
Please bring enough water for Hash House use and for at least 3 h
ours on course. There are no water drops on course; however there is a
water fountain at the top of Ainslie. We do not recommend drinking any wat
er found on course without sterilisation.
