The Australian Rogaining Association (ARA) is the peak national body for rogaining in Australia. The aims of the ARA are to promote and develop rogaining in Australia and internationally, maintain the Technical Standards and Rules of Rogaining, to foster the annual Australian Rogaining Championship, and to facilitate formation of a democratic and representative international federation for the sport.

The ARA has eight members, being the rogaining associations representing the six states and two territories of Australia. Each state or territory Rogaining Association formally appoints two delegates to the ARA Council. The Executive, consisting of the President, Secretary and Treasurer, plus the Immediate Past President complete the Council.
